Who We are

The Warriors are more than just athletes; they’re a living portrait of what Vancouver; the province and Canada strives to be. Like most VAFC teams, the Warriors are made up of boys from a rich variety of backgrounds: different ethnicities, cultures, faiths, economic circumstances and including relative newcomers to Canada, all of them united by a shared love for the sport.

Their varied differences and foundations coupled with their shared passion for soccer have created something powerful together: a bond based on respect, resilience, hard work, and self belief. The Warriors success on the field is a result of that connection, anchored in mutual respect, hard work, trust, and the belief that every one of them has something to contribute and can accomplish great things. Guided by an incredibly dedicated and passionate team of professional volunteer dads David, Paul, and Lucas, with VAFC head coach, Chris Laxton, the boys are preparing to bring their skill, effort and team chemistry to the national stage.
